ZACH GREIM is a senior at Mt. Carmel High School in San Diego. He bowls league at Mira Mesa Lanes and has been league President for the past 7 seasons while also helping to coach the younger bowlers. Zach has achieved many 300 games and has a high series of 834.
Zach has participated in many youth tournaments including twice at the USBC Junior Gold Championships in Dallas and Detroit; earned 2 JAT titles including a 300 game and was also 1 of 10 boys in the country to advance to the 2020 PBA Jr Nationals Finals in Jupiter, Florida.
Prior to Covid closures, Zach practiced daily at Mira Mesa Lanes. The Youth Director describes him as the most dedicated, most driven, and most disciplined youth bowler in his my program. He never tires of practicing. Zach was also on the local news fighting for the centers to re-open during the COVID shutdown and his supportive family was traveling out of state so that he can practice and bowl tournaments during that time.
Zach has set his sights on bowling collegiately. He signed a commitment form and received a partial scholarship offer from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. He will be studying Business & Marketing and is striving to get his MBA so that he can ultimately become the Marketing Director for Storm Bowling Products – watch out Leanne!
We wish you the best of luck in College. Congratulations Zach!
