California has an outstanding history at the Pepsi International finals. From 1983-2008, California has had over 20 top four finishers totaling over $60,000 in scholarships. This proves that many of the top youth bowlers in this country are right here from California! California has awarded over $859,250 in scholarships since 1998.

Welcome to the California Pepsi USBC Youth Championships. To date, the Pepsi Youth Championships nationwide has awarded more than $6 million in scholarships — it is estimated that at least $500,000 in scholarships will be awarded nationwide this season alone. By conducting the league level competition you are giving your bowlers an opportunity to help finance their college education.
BowlersParadise.com will be sponsoring this event along with www.EliteBowling.com sponsored this tournament from 2000-2020. Also each pro shop in the hosting Pepsi District Finals donate a bowling ball for our fundraising raffle at each site to help us raise more scholarship dollars. Please visit these businesses and THANK them for their generous contributions by shopping at their establishments!
There are ten total divisions by age: U8, U10, U12, U15 and U18 (Boys and Girls). California offers a separate Handicap division for everyone at the District Finals in March. This will allow newer bowlers a chance to earn scholarships at the District Finals and also optionally at the State Finals. We want to see both beginner bowlers and scratch bowlers have a chance to earn awards.
